  •   The Safety Village is Mobile!

How about having an event with a difference and combine a learning experience with a great time by bringing the Tom Thumb Safety Program to your child's next event. Our mobile Safety Program is available for birthday parties, summer camp programs, school fundraisers and other charitable events, etc.

  •    What is TomThumbSafety.com?

The Tom Thumb Safety Program is a mobile show consisting of  6 pedal cars, cones and stop signs and is designed to teach pedestrian and traffic safety to children ages 5-8.

The program involves a short safety talk on traffic and pedestrian safety, an explanation of the pedal cars, and the traffic layout that is now produced using orange cones and chalk on the pavement for lines. We also have crayons and Safety Colouring books.

TomThumbSafety.com provides children a hands-on approach to learning basic rules of the road; both as a vehicle driver and as a pedestrian. The best part is your child will be learning these very important life skills and having fun while they do it!

  •   Upcoming Public Events

Come on out and have some fun with the Tom Thumb pedal cars at one of the events that are open to the public!

Some of the events are free of charge, and some are done as fundraisers for schools or other organizations, so a charge or donation may apply.

Upcoming events will be added as they are booked. Check back often to see where the TomThumb cars will be!

The following two events are held annually, but have not yet confirmed for 2012.

Vancouver Island Safety Council hosts an Open House at Western Speedway in the summer, and includes the TomThumbSafety.com pedal cars so the kids can have fun while mom and/or dad check out what the VISC offers. More information can be found on their website when available:

We hope the tenth Annual European and Classic Car Picnic will be held at Queen Alexandra Hospital this August. This popular and hugely successful fundraiser benefits the Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children. Besides all the beautiful "real" cars, the Tom Thumb pedal cars will be there for the kids to enjoy! More information can be found on their website when available:
